'Blinking Flamingos' is...

…simply the musings of a middle-aged bloke living in the East Algarve; a bloke who has no idea what he’s doing. I write about my experiences, as well as the activities and places that I’ve enjoyed. If you aim to move here, or just want to spend some time in a lovely part of the world, hopefully my books will give you some idea of what to expect.

Life here isn’t always straightforward, in fact it can be downright frustrating, but it’s always interesting, and the weather/food/beaches are stunning.

And them ‘Blinking Flamingos’? They’re what I see from my roof terrace.
